Very disappointing in terms of room comfort and food - will consider other places next time.
Location was great as it's near family cabin which was important.
Very disappointing to get an old outdated room although there were newly refurbished rooms free. Speaking to staff this is apparently the case when booking through the likes of booking.com and not directly through the hotel, but disappointing none the less as this is not make clear when booking. Also, the breakfast was a sorry sight to say the least. Eggs were lacking, poor choice of bread to name a few.

What was the highlight of Rauland Høgfjellshotell
Even though we did enjoy our trip but not sure if I will stay at the same apartment again.
The location and the view. The Master bedroom, living cum kitchen and bathroom are good size except for the bunk beds room which is well too small. The bed linens were reasonably good and fresh except we had to make our own bed and one pillowcase looked like it has been used.
We were sent the wrong access code for the entry door and had to call for the correct one. The bunk beds room is very small and only a small window shared with the master bedroom wall (no privacy!). The room should not be allowed to be built without its own window. I wonder how did it get approved in the first place! When the door of the master bedroom was locked, the door kept banging whenever there was wing or movement. We had to use a throw pillow against the door to stop it. We struggled to climb the steep & slippery slope to get to the start of the ski station because the ski station couldn't bother to fix the slope after the ice has melted and caused a big drop in level.
